Mrs. Jennifer Dede Adjabeng, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for La Nkwantanang-Madina Municipal Assembly has cut the sod for the construction of a new Community-Based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound at Oyarifa, a community in the Municipality on Thursday, January 5, 2023.
The project to be funded from the Assembly’s Common Fund comes with facilities such as an OPD, an OPD, two consulting rooms, a pharmacy, cash office, record office amongst others is expected to be completed in six months
Addressing the gathering, Mrs. Adjabeng said the project was important as it would ensure quality health delivery for the people of Oyarifa and surrounding communities, and for that reason the Assembly would ensure the contractor complete the project according to schedule.
The MCE also revealed plans were far advanced by the Assembly to construct an office complex on the same premise for the Oyarifa Zonal Council.
For his part, the chief of Oyarifa, Nii Odzema Mensah on behalf of the community members expressed their gratitude to the MCE and Assembly for the continuous show of goodwill towards the people of the area, and pledged to support the contractor to expedite the completion of the project.
