In Line with His Excellency, President John Dramani Mahama’s Reset Agenda for the reintroduction of the National Sanitation Day, the Management of La Nkwantanang-Madina Municipal Assembly wishes to inform the general public and its residents that the Municipality will organize a clean-up exercise on Saturday, 4th October, 2025.

In light of the above, all residents and business owners within the Municipality are kindly requested to take note and comply with the following directives;

1. All shops and businesses should remain closed from 6 am till 10 am on October 4, 2025.
2. All residents and shop owners/traders within the Madina Market, Madina Lorry Station, Zongo Junction and Ritz Junction areas are required to participate in this all-important clean up exercise.
3. All residents and shop owners/ traders in other communities in the municipality are entreated to organize clean up exercise within their localities on the said date.

Please note that any person or group of persons who fail to comply with the above directives will be sanctioned or prosecuted in accordance with the relevant laws.

Let’s come together and make La Nkwantanang-Madina Municipality, Greater Accra Region and Ghana clean.
