The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of La Nkwantanang-Madina Municipal Assembly (LaNMMA), Ibrahim Faila Fussein has told staff of the Assembly to work within the confines of the law, as lateness to work, absenteeism, apathy and leaving work places before time, were all unacceptable practices and must be eschewed.
The MCE made this admonition during a staff durbar at the forecourt of the Assembly on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.
Hon. Faila indicated that henceforth he will not entertain any lackadaisical behaviour from any worker whatsoever and called on all to be punctual at work.
He also entreated the staff to exhibit team work among themselves to enable them execute government’s policies and programmes successfully.
The MCE however, assured the staff of his open door policy and thus called on them to approach him on any issue that would help propel the Assembly to where it belonged years ago.
