The National Sanitation Day was organised on Saturday, 1st November, 2025. The Hon. Chief Executive, Alhaji Faila Fuseini, used the second edition of the exercise to deepen the gains made since the reintroduction of the National Sanitation Day. Together with Assembly members, he inspected the clean-up exercise throughout the Municipality and rounded up at Madina Zongo junction where he educated market women, traders and hawkers, adding that the next stage of the initiative will be strict enforcement of by-laws.
