The La Nkwantanang-Madina Municipal Assembly (LaNMMA) has successfully launched a comprehensive capacity-building training workshop for staff of the assembly to promote administrative efficiency and modernize its operations on Friday, November 20, 2025.

This initiative has become necessary following the Assembly’s commitment to harmonize its operations and equip its staff with the digital skills necessary for modern day-to-day administration.

The training was designed as an interactive forum for staff across all departments and units who availed the opportunity to transform their outfit. Its core objective was to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and promote a culture of continuous improvement that would translate into superior service delivery for the citizens of Madina.

The workshop brought together a dedicated number of staff, Heads of Department, and Unit Heads from across the Assembly, ensuring an all-inclusive approach to skills development.

In his address, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Ibrahim Faila Fusseini said the training provides us with an excellent avenue to deepen our knowledge, enhance our competencies, and align our work processes with best practices in local governance.

“I encourage all participants to take full advantage of this training session to share experiences, seek clarity where necessary and actively engage with the resource person,” he said.

He urged staff to be reminded that, the development of LaNMMA depends largely on professionalism, dedication and the efficiency with which they execute their duties.

“The objective of this training will be fully attained only when we apply lessons learnt to improve productivity and responsiveness in our various departments and units.
