“PRESEC”, the 2020 Winners of the 26th edition of the National Science & Maths Quiz have called on the Municipal Chief Executive of La-Nkwantanang-Madina Municipal Assembly, Hon. Jennifer Dede Adjabeng to present their prize in a symbolic gesture.
Accompanying the winning team was the Municipal Director of Education, Ms. Angela Frimpomaa Nkansah, and the headmaster of the school, Mr. David Odjidja.
In her opening remarks, the Municipal Education Director said having won the prestigious prize for the 6th time, the team thought it prudent and courteous to pay homage to the “mother” of the Municipality before proceeding to honour the invitation by the Regional Minister and the President.
The headmaster of the school appealed to the Assembly to support the cause of the school especially for such activities that bring laurels to the municipality.
The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Jennifer Dede Adjabeng said a fund will be instituted to resource the two Senior High Schools in the Municipality to shore up their chances in future contests.
The three PRESEC students who won the quiz were Daniel Kekeli Gakpetor, Benjamin Nketsiah, and Isaac Kofi Gyamfi.
