The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for La Nkwantanang-Madina Municipal Assembly (LaNMMA), Jennifer Dede Adjabeng has underscored the need for civil servants to work within the ambit of the law.
She said lateness to work, absenteeism, apathy and leaving work places before time, were all unacceptable practices that civil servants must eschew.
The MCE made these remarks when she met management and staff of the Assembly at a durbar on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at the Assembly’s premises
Madam Adjabeng indicated that henceforth her administration would not countenance any lackadaisical behaviour from any worker whatsoever. She said, civil servants play a critical role in implementing government policies and programmes, and thus urged the staff of the assembly to work harder.
The MCE therefore called for team work among the workers in order for them to execute government’s policies and programmes successfully. Adding, “it behooves on you to provide the kind of attitude that will help accelerate the pace of the municipality’s development agenda”
The Municipal Coordinating Director, Madam Abena Kwesiwa Kyei said management was working hard to provide all the necessary logistics to the Municipal Guards to enable them work effectively.
