First quarter RISK Communication Committee meeting held on the 10th September 2024 at the Municipal Assembly Hall, in attendance were, REP from education, NCCE, Media, Assembly, traditional leader and various facility heads
The committee members were taken through the top ten diseases recorded in the Municipal. Upper respiratory tract infection, diabetes and hypertension was our major concern as such cases was on the increase. Members were therefore tasked to intensify education to help reduce such diseases. Presentation was done by the Municipal Health Information officer in the person of Mac Jonas Kambe.
The RISK Communication Coordinator in the person of Miss Vida Wewupadi Agoriwo who is also the Municipal Health Promotion Officer presented on COVID-19 Disease as the disease is with us. Committee members are charged to do their best in the community to increase vaccination intake.
