Two Assembly Members Sworn Into Office at La Nkwatanang-Madina Municipal

Two assembly members, Prince Deku and Umar Ibrahim of North Legon and Nkwatanang East electoral areas respectively have been sworn into office at the La Nkwantanang-Madina Municipal Assembly (LaNMMA).

The two were sworn in at a special meeting of the fourth assembly of the LaNMMA held at the conference room of the assembly on Friday, June13, 2025.

Their swearing in became necessary following the death of their predecessors Daniel Tetteh and Nathaniel Adansi Junior in respective order to their existing assembly members in office.

They were sworn in by her worship Justice Sandra Nyarkotey, a magistrate at the Madina Divisional Court 2.

The assembly also approved its sub-committees, executives committees and public relations and complaints committee.

Her worship Sandra Nyarkotey charged the two assembly members to discharge their mandate with a sense of passion adding that their foremost duty was service to people.
