The La Nkwantanang Madina Municipal Assembly, under the leadership of Hon. Alhaji Ibrahim Fusseini Faila, participated in the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), held from May 17 to May 22, 2026, in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The global forum brought together city leaders, policymakers, development institutions, urban planners, and stakeholders from across the world to discuss sustainable urban development, resilient housing systems, and the future of cities.
During the forum, LaNMMA highlighted its commitment toward building a connected, livable, and vibrant municipality through sustainable planning and infrastructure development. Key presentations focused on:
