MCE Inspects Site for Proposed 24-Hour Economy Market

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the La Nkwantanang-Madina Municipal Assembly, Hon. Ibrahim Faila Fusseini, on Tuesday June 9, 2026 afternoon led the contractor to the designated site for the construction of the proposed 24-Hour Economy Market near RIIS Junction in the Municipality.

The visit was aimed at acquainting the contractor with the exact location earmarked for the project to facilitate the commencement of construction activities.

Accompanying the MCE were the Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD), Abena Kwesiwa Kyei; the Municipal Fire Commander, ACFO II Samuel F. Tetteh; and other technical officers of the Assembly.

The proposed market forms part of efforts to enhance economic activities within the Municipality and support the government’s 24-hour economy initiative.
