A team comprising of officials from LaNMMA and GARID on Thursday, April 6, 2023, undertook a three (3) hour monitoring exercise to flood prone areas within the municipality. These areas included; Kweiman Basic School, Teiman Akoli, Owusu-Ansah to Oyarifa stretch of the Legon- Aburi Highway, Adenta SDA (kenkey house), Ritz junction and Atiman.
The exercise was to assess the volume of work to be undertaken at those flood prone areas which will include construction, dredging and desilting of some storm drains and gutters to avert any possible flooding in the district ahead of the rainy season.
