Demand Generation on vaccination uptake was done for health workers across the Municipal. A 2 today training was done on 17th to 18th November 2024 for 60 health workers which include Health Promotion Officers, Disease control officers, public health nurses and CHO/ CHN.
The training was necessary as the district was recording low immunizations coverages. The training is to equip staff on new strategies to use to improve vaccination intake. The training was facilitated by the Municipal Health Promotion Officer in the Person of Miss Vida Wewupadi Agoriwo, Disease Control Officer in the person of Miss Cynthia Deamenu and Municipal Public Health Nurse, also in the person of Grace Apreku.
